D.I.I. DSPR-30X 'Arrow' Designated Spotters Rifle

The D.I.I. DSPR-25 "Arrow" Designated Spotter Rifle (Designated Spotter Rifle) is an advanced rifle manufactured by the Draconis Industries International corporation. The weapon does, of course, take after HK's superb G36 platform, albeit with a larger round and magwell.

The "Arrow" is a modified, long barreled selective fire variant of the D.I.I. H.U.A.R. RX-289 (Heavy Urban Assault Rifle) that fires the 7.62x51 NATO round.
 
The Arrow has a good fire rate, and can fire about as fast as the user can pull the trigger. The Barrel is free floating, and has enhanced rifling designed to reduce overall spread and increase rapid fire accuracy. The Arrow can switch to automatic fire mode and will fire at 450 RPM in that mode.

The Arrow is designed to be utilized by a sniper's designated Spotter, and is meant to give a spotter a good mid to semi-long range weapon designed to support and back up the Sniper. As such, the standard issue optics are meant to be replaced with a high-power D.I.I. ATRS-50 (Adv. Tactical Rangefinding Scope) to allow the spotter to use his weapon's scope rather then a set of rangefinding binoculars to help their sniper range his shots.
